OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, AFFORDABLY PRICED, SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES.

This hospital is a well-equipped facility with a small but experienced staff dedicated to the best interest of our patients.

We use a combination of injectable anesthetics and Isofluorane gas anesthesia. All anesthetized patients are intubated, have their heart (ECG), blood oxygen levels (pulse oximetry), ETCO2 (capnography) and respirations monitored.  In addition, they receive pain medication pre and post-operatively.

Spay and neuter surgery is the priority. By focusing on this one service we can keep the quality higher and the expenses lower. The result is lower fees for the owner with high quality surgical care for the pet.

Surgical Requirements

Cats: Must weigh a minimum of 2 pounds and be at least 8 weeks of age.

Dogs

Puppies must be at least 6 months of age.  Exceptions may be made if they are being adopted out and/or belong to a rescue organization on a case by case basis.  Contact us to discuss further if you have a special circumstance.

It is not required for your pet to see a traditional veterinarian before surgery, although it is recommended.  All animals should have age-appropriate vaccinations prior to surgery which can be updated at the time of their appointment if needed.  While we are strict about our biosecurity protocols, there are animals from many different walks of life in our clinic every day and not all illnesses are immediately apparent at the time of surgery.  This means that if you elect to bring your animal in unvaccinated, you are assuming all associated risks.

If you need to get your pet updated on vaccines, we also have a wellness clinic where we provide preventative medicine.

We do not accept owner or breeder administered vaccinations.

We will not perform surgery on dogs weighing more than 80 pounds or over the age of 7 years.

We will not perform surgery on dogs weighing less than 4 pounds.

All animals will be tattooed with a small blue line to indicate that they have been spayed or neutered. This is not optional. See tattoo example here .
